The Coeur Intense cake will delight chocolate lovers. This heart shaped cake sits on a dark chocolate biscuit base and is filled with a delicate chocolate mousse and layers of brownie biscuit and crunchy cocoa bean clusters. All is covered in creamy and intense dark chocolate.
The Coeur Douceur is perfect for those who are looking for something a little more delicate. A velvety white chocolate mousse sits on a Genoese sponge base with a strawberry and raspberry compote filling running through the centre.
I have tried the Coeur Douceur and it is divine. The cake is lovely and light with a sweet mousse and delicious strawberry and raspberry compote. The size of the cake is perfect for two and is a gorgeous ending to a romantic dinner for two. The presentation of the cake is very elegant. The white heart shaped cake has a decoration of strawberries on the top and an edible red ribbon that wraps around the cake. The cake is beautifully presented in signature PAUL packaging.
Another irresistible treat, by PAUL is a box of 12 signature mini macarons. Unlike the limited edition Valentine’s Day cakes, these are available all year round in pistachio, chocolate, raspberry, caramel, lemon and coconut flavours.
